Credits are going backwards. Very crispy, saturated image to irritate the viewer.
CUT
Dark planet is burning from inside. It's energy is overwhelming. It's covered with pulsating veins. Left side is covered with massive cancer tumor. Suddenly, that disgusting incrustation explodes from inside, spreading dirty-yellow liquid on the planet.
CUT
Dark frame. Crunchy sound.
CUT
A mouse is eating something dirty-yellow in someone's ear. Crunchy sound continues. We hear someone crying. Mouse gets deeper inside, crunchy sounds volume peaks to maximum level. A very irritating atmosphere. Mouse gets completely inside the ear.
CUT. 1st PERSON CAMERA VIEW
Dark industrial corridor. You feel as if you are a flying power. This power goes through the walls, through industrial premises and appears in a dead-end of a corridor. It stops.
CUT. NORMAL CAMERA VIEW
Silhouette of a mouse in profile, which kinda pop-stylishy (Ripchord - Thrill Cosby 5:19-5:21) appears next to that dead-end wall and starts eating it.
(just like that yellow shit from the ear)
CUT. CAMERA 1st PERSON VIEW
Power flies through that dead-end wall.
TRANSITION "THROUGH THE WALL"
THE QUOTE
Dark room. A chair stands in the center, book is lying on a seat, TV screen is floating in the air in front. A video is being played on it.
Description of that video:
CLOSE UP
Dark background. Absolutely inemotional narrator is reading the Quote from a book. His eyes look straight at the viewer, like anchorman's on Evening News. His face doesn't show any emotions. His voice is calm, mild tempoed, affected by smoking. He is dressed in a cheap black suit, white shirt and striped grey tie.
"The QUOTE"
NARRATOR
Once upon a time homo erectus, a primitive human, stumbled across a dying kinsman motionlessly lying on the ground, he touched his cold body, his ears heard his last breath: he witnessed death. That was a moment of understanding the finiteness nature of life. He realized that someday he will die. That was a dreadful discovery. Fright of approaching nonexistence stroke his mind. Eternal void became his biggest fear. That was a birth of desire to weaken the fear of nothingness and reconcile him with the idea of mortality. Exactly at that instant, human felt need for god. That was the beginning of religion.
(pronounced Quote is used as background speech through the whole scene)
Through the whole scene 1st person camera moves towards the screen and eventually gets inside it, showing narrator in full-screen.
CUT. DEEP BASS
A siluete of a man on a bed, in front of the window. He is alone and dying. On the back we see Death (classic figure with scythe) coming closer and closer. We only hear steps, breath and voice. Pressure of Silence.
DYING MAN
I'm nothing. I am nothhhiii...With this words he dies.
CUT
Dark field with the Death standing at the center, looking at the horizon. Sound of blowing wind. Lightning in a long distance.
CUT
Night Sky. Stars. Rings of smoke. Silence.(long take)
Why we are here?CUT. "THROUGH THE RINGS OF SMOKE"
Dark field. Smoke is filling the surface slowly. Somewhere at far distance a silhouette of Death is standing. Wind is blowing. Background voice is slowly saying:
MAIN CHARACTER
What is the reason of Life?
Why am I here?
Camera slowly slides to the sky. A ring of smoke.
SLIDE UP INTO DARKNESS
Dark frame. Weird noise. Light appears in a distance, revealing the chess board. It has no borders, we don't see the end of it. No figures. Everything is dark. Only a little light in the center. Smoke covers the whole chess-board. Camera shows lightened part closer and a little from the top. Scream of a small baby. Smoke sucks in. It reveals the only figure standing there - The King.
To be edited and continued...
It reveals the only figure standing here - The King. ---- Hm, that's good! But what at the moment when the king figure appears there will be some narrator voice, explaining somehow that king is a symbol of life? What if it is done like a voodoo prayer(I mean with all this weird indian sounds and prayers - and if it will be just one frase, surrounded by this weird sounds, it will sound pretty cool and the guys who are not familliar with chess, will not be forgotten :)
ReplyDeleteI pictured that scene, just as you described it. I like. Will consider that. Thx :)
